| Salt Cellar

This is my little frit bowl! It's actually called a salt cellar. I like to use this bowl for hold frit while I dip because it's small, it's deep and it's heavy enough not to move around too much while I'm dipping. Mine was given to me, but if you'd like to buy one, the only place I've seen them for sale is on eBay. |

I use my salt cellar over a small plate to catch the overflow and a cheap plastic funnel to put the frit back into it's jar. |
Broken Tea Spoon
I love my little frit bowl, but it doesn't work very well when I have only an ounce or less of a particular frit left. To use up every little frit bit, I use broken tea spoons!

The teaspoons that you're going to want are the soft aluminum kind aka CHEAPIES! |
Bend the handle back and forth until it breaks. This is why you want the soft aluminum kind. |

Wha-la! A small little frit dish! I have the 1 teaspoon pictured, but if you have a very small amount of frit, you can use the 1/4th teaspoon just as easily as the full teaspoon. |

These little buggers slide around a lot so what I do to prevent that is secure it to a plate using a small ball of scrap polymer clay (any brand, any color!). |
Squish that puppy down! |
Yup, not going anywhere. |
When you're all done, tip the whole business over into a funnel and that's it! The frit bits go where they're supposed to go and the little bowl stays on the plate. |
